Payroll Administrator — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a large well known organisation in Brisbane. Perigon Group is working with an Inner city based client to recruit for an experienced Payroll Administrator. Responsibilities: Perform various payroll administrative duties, including answering calls, emails, word processing, filing, archiving, mail collection, and other assigned tasks. Utilise experience with Business and/or Payroll systems like Preceda or similar systems. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Prepare detailed documents using word processing and/or other business software. Assist in managing and monitoring business systems and processes. Respond to staff payroll inquiries. Learn all aspects of payroll operations for backup support. Ideal candidate qualifications: Certificate IV in Business or Administration or equivalent experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Business or Payroll operations. Current knowledge and experience with Preceda or similar systems (Desirable). Familiarity with relevant Awards/Agreements and payroll-related legislation and requirements. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as a high-performing member of the payroll team.
