The Opportunity Reporting to the General Manager and due to business expansion, this is a newly created position. Assuming responsibility for Sales Management and Sales performance for building and construction work across Queensland, your clients will include both Government and Constructors in large civil infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and residential high rise projects. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will be to: Drive profitable business growth through existing and new clients Maximise sales and margins with Tier 1 & 2 companies & government Develop pricing strategies and quotations for project tendering Manage, mentor & support Sales team with customers and projects Maximise sales in high margin products, services & accessories Coordinate all functions of the company to fulfil supply requirements Liaise with Sales & Service Centres to maximise sales to customers and projects Project Manage across Sales, Schedulers, Services Centres, Production & Despatch Your Skills & Attributes Ideally you’ll have developed your career in the Construction industry and will be able to demonstrate most of the following: Qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering, Business Management or Project Management Highly developed Relationship, Business Development & Sales skills Strong networks & ability to develop long term business relationships Understanding lines of influence & decision making of T1,T2 and Govt Passion for innovation & ability to influence & drive consensus with multiple stakeholders Strong Business & Sales acumen. High level negotiation & closing skills Strong in developing proposals, presentations & overall communication Demonstrated strong people management, coaching & delegating skills Manage segments & territories & evaluate performance to strategies Knowledge of construction sequencing, structural products and designs Understanding of MSOffice, tools & technologies used in construction What’s on Offer With strong customer, safety, people and entrepreneurial values, they boast high staff retention, much higher than the industry average.
