Electrorig (a division of McNab) is an established Gold Coast based contractor, that has successfully installed and maintained hundreds of project-based hoists, lifts, and cranes both nationally and internationally. We are looking for an industrial electrician to join our hoist business, that enjoys working on construction sites and wants to be part of a good-sized close-knit team Your experience will see you be able to take the initiative and problem solve to make things happen day to day on site but have some interaction and fun with the people around you. If you’re an industrial electrician that loves medium sized commercial construction projects and the vibe and challenge they bring, then apply for a quick chat and learn some more. Electrical worker licence and corresponding trade, or equivalent. We don’t care about years of experience, but you will have enough experience and initiative to be able to work things out and fault find easily, within the industrial electrical space. Ideally you will have experience with VSD and PLC control. You probably already have a working at heights ticket, or ability to get one easily. You might even have an interest in getting a riggers ticket to support the wider team (or have one already). You will be eager to upskill and adapt to new challenges including but not limited to attending training sessions and gaining new tickets. You will care about safety first and be able to work well with minimal supervision. You will be comfortable working to deadlines and being a part of close-knit team that get it done You have the ability to communicate and interact with others well, whether that be with larger teams on sites or in the smaller team we have. GC based role, but with a Drivers licence required for some travel to Brisbane or even the Sunshine Coast at times. The ability to work Saturdays and overtime as required.
