Warehouse Supervisor — Edmonton, Cairns

About the Role Ventia have been awarded significant works on the NBN N2P Evolution contract across Australia. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility based in Edmonton, Cairns. You will be responsible for managing inventory, shipping and receiving activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular stock takes. Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely processing, accurate documentation, and compliance with customer requirements. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures, conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a culture of safety awareness among warehouse staff and visitors. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of products, including proper handling, storage, and packaging. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Customer Service: Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to fulfill orders, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors, to ensure safe and efficient operation. Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices. Knowledge of SAP MS Office Experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
