The Role This opportunity is for a skilled Commercial and Corporate Lawyer, confident in providing a wide range of legal advice on relevant obligations and risks for this Not-for-Profit entity. Your responsibilities include: Provide proactive advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial areas; Advise senior leadership and executives strategic business initiatives; Collaborate with internal clients & stakeholders in identifying, understanding, and managing legal risks and issues; and Work closely with the General Counsel on significant legal issues. About You The ideal candidates will be commercially with a minimum of 5 years PAE and proven experience in commercial contracts management and negotiation. Additionally, you will possess: Admitted as a Solicitor in QLD; In-house experience preferred; Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively; Aged care / retirement village legal experience will be highly regarded; Ability to confidently present messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate persuasively with stakeholders and advise clients and senior management on procurement planning, sourcing and contract management strategies; and Motivated, pro-active and self-managing.
