Working as part of the Hotel Services team, our café attendants help create an environment where residents and their families can come and socialise over a hot or cold beverage or snack. Typically, this involves. Preparation and service of hot and cold (non-alcoholic) beverages. Service of a range of snacks including hot and cold sandwiches, cakes, muffins etc. Washing up of dishes. Cleaning of kitchen and service areas. Cleaning of dining area around the coffee shop. Assist in / provide back up support in dining room service when required. About You At Infin8care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so experience in the aged care sector is not necessary. Whilst formal qualifications such as a cert II in hospitality would be highly regarded, it is more important that you have a friendly disposition, a willingness to help others and demonstrated experience in a customer service or a hospitality environment such as retail, coffee shop, bar, or restaurant. In addition to this it is essential that you have, Proactive and measured attitude to identifying & preventing safety hazards in the workplace. Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and supporting colleagues at all times. Commitment to attend safety specific training and upskilling sessions paid by the company. Willingness to come up with safety ideas that improve awareness, hazard reduction and incident reporting. To be successful in this position you will need to hold a current NDIS clearance and/or apply ( How to apply | NDIS ). Part of your application will be proof of age e.g driver's license or age card. If you don’t have this, you will need to apply via the state-based Department of Transport websites.
