Our client, a reputable legal firm based in Adelaide CBD seeks an experienced permanent full time Legal Secretary to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Accurate Typing: Perform precise word processing and typing tasks. Document Preparation: Transcribe and draft files and legal documents. Diary Management: Effectively manage schedules and appointments. Correspondence: Prepare documents and handle routine correspondence. Filing Management: Maintain and monitor filing systems, ensuring follow-up on all correspondence using database systems. Client Interaction: Manage incoming calls and welcome visitors. Information Management: Handle information using Excel spreadsheets and practice management systems (Open Practice). Administrative Support: Undertake various duties as required. Professional Service Delivery: Ensure all services are completed in a timely and professional manner. Skills and Experience: Experience with transcribing from dictation recordings. Fast and accurate typing skills. Typist or legal secretarial background, coupled with a very strong eye for detail and accuracy with systems would be advantageous. Experience with formatting documents. Highly developed organisation and communication skills. The ability to operate independently with a high level of initiative.
