About the role This role is integral to our Value Based Healthcare (VBHC) team within the Provider, Markets & Commercial branch, focusing on developing and implementing project initiatives to meet strategic business objectives for VBHC and the TAC. Working alongside operational teams, this role will lead implementation, testing, and evaluation of pilots, innovative processes and care models. By employing the principles of VBHC, co-design, Change and Project Management Frameworks, the Project Specialist actively engages with healthcare providers, clients, and staff to deliver better outcomes, experience and value for all stakeholders. Additionally, the role will involve mentoring and supporting dedicated VBHC project officers, providing guidance and oversight while fostering their professional development. This position requires a high level of initiative, decision-making ability, and leadership skills. About the Team This role will be part of our Value Based Healthcare (VBHC) team, collaborating with a dedicated group of Project Specialists, Project Officers, and Data Analysts to lead and implement project initiatives, integrate program deliverables, and identify and mitigate risks. You will be supported by a Manager who fosters a collaborative and inclusive management style, ensuring all team members have a voice and receive the guidance needed to succeed. Working closely with a skilled and dedicated team known for their expertise in project management, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement and enhancing the provider, client, and staff experience through VBHC initiatives. What we’re looking for Strong Project Management Experience You will need extensive experience in leading and independently running projects within a large organisation. This includes ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, and applying project methodologies and change management principles. Experience with projects related to healthcare is highly desirable. Stakeholder Engagement and Influence This role requires a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders, with a focus on building relationships, inclusive collaboration, and managing expectations. You'll need strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in effective internal and external stakeholder liaison, including multi-disciplinary healthcare providers. Knowledge of Value Based Health Care You will need knowledge and understanding of the principles of value based health care and the social determinants of health. You'll also need to be sensitive to cultural diversity, working inclusively with a diverse client base to deliver person-centered care.
