Multiple permanent on-prem IT Infrastructure roles available working with a Microsoft Gold Partner based in Adelaide. We are currently partnering with a large MSP based in Adelaide looking to recruit multiple Level 2 On-Prem Infrastructure Support Specialists, Level 3 On-Prem Infrastructure Lead Engineers, and an On-Prem Infrastructure Architect to work with government clients. These roles will be working in a Microsoft environment on large-scale migrations from on-prem to Azure. They require proficiency in network engineering principles and technologies such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configurations. Candidates should be experienced with server virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V, as well as storage technologies including SAN and NAS. A strong understanding of operating systems like Windows Server and Linux, along with enterprise applications such as Active Directory and Exchange, is essential. Level 2 On-Prem Infrastructure Support: Infrastructure Support: Provide second-level technical support for on-premises infrastructure-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations. Troubleshooting: Investigate and diagnose on-premises infrastructure problems, collaborating with Level 3 support and other teams to resolve complex issues. Incident Response: Respond to on-premises infrastructure-related incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of on-premises infrastructure configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their on-premises infrastructure requirements and provide effective technical support. Level 3 On-Prem Infrastructure Lead Engineer Infrastructure Design: Design and implement on-premises infrastructure solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices. Implementation and Maintenance: Execute the deployment and ongoing maintenance of on-premises infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements within on-premises environments. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for on-premises infrastructure-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges promptly. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for on-premises infrastructure configurations and changes. On-Prem Infrastructure Architect Strategic Infrastructure Design: Lead the strategic design and architecture of on-premises infrastructure solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices. Technology Advisory: Provide strategic guidance to clients on on-premises infrastructure trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Implementation Oversight: Oversee the implementation of on-premises infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and client objectives. Security and Compliance Leadership: Drive the implementation of robust security measures and ensure compliance within on-premises infrastructure architectures. Collaborative Integration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing leadership in integrating on-premises solutions into larger technology ecosystems.
