The Company Our client is a locally based civil contractor and with a solid pipeline of work. They are regarded as one of the top civil companies to work for in NSW and have a long history of successful project completion. Typical projects include roads, rail, mining, subdivisions and earthworks but they also do complex infrastructure such as marine, port and bridge projects. Having seen significant growth in the Hunter Valley and Newcastle markets they have a need for a Project Manager and two Project Engineers to assist them to run projects that they have recently won and the expectation is that they will also pick up further work in the area and allow you to have a long term future in the Hunter Valley / Newcastle region. The Roles They are looking for a Project Manager with experience running section of works and projects up to and over $20m in value. They are also looking for two Project Engineers with strong earthworks experience who has worked with a civil contractor managing a roads or earthworks package. Key Responsibilities; Mentoring and managing a team of engineers and supervisors Client liaison Budget and P&L responsibilities Managing daily, weekly and monthly programmes Subcontractor management Ultimate responsibility for Safety, Environment and Quality Managing a team of multidisciplinary staff on complex projects Knowledge and experience required; Ideally a qualified Civil Engineer or a minimum of a Bachelors or equivalent in a related discipline Worked on infrastructure or earthworks projects worth over $5m in value as a minimum Experience managing a team of Engineers and Supervisors Worked closely with Quality, Safety and Environmental teams Strong project commercial experience Ideally have exposure to bid teams Remuneration; Paying a market high base salary Top of the line motor vehicle Five day working week Bonus scheme and profit share schemes available Further education paid for and encouraged Extra annual leave available as a bonus For more information on this role please apply today.
