The Role The Senior Engineering Manager, APAC ID is responsible for ongoing support and development of the GBG identity verification platforms in the APAC region (greenID, GBG Trust: Alert & CloudCheck). Ultimately the incumbent will be responsible for 20 engineers, 3 product owners, 1 architect, and 2 operations personnel. What you will do Engineering leader for APAC's identity verification businesses (greenID, GBG Trust: Alert & Cloudcheck) Lead application operations, support, and maintenance activities for greenID and CloudCheck - both systems 'always on' & cloud-based Lead new development activities for greenID, GBG Trust: Alert & CloudCheck People leadership for the team consisting of a technical architect, software engineers/leads, QA engineers, platform engineers/leads, and business analysts/product owners Provide vision, own architecture, and technical processes aligning with the Agile/Scrum framework One of three members of the APAC Technology Senior Leadership team Member of APAC Technology's Extended Leadership team Member of APAC's Extended Leadership team (1ALT) Member of GBG's senior global technology ID&F community Key technical consultant for ID product roadmaps and plans for the region Champion for continuous improvement activities Leader for InfoSec, compliance & privacy activities Occasional customer contact on an as needs basis
