Support project and service teams, and provide training to enhance end user experience. Digital Workplace Services The Microsoft End User Computing Engineer reports into the Team Lead – Microsoft End User Computing which sits within the Digital Workspace Services. This group has a clear work grouping orientation towards strategic growth and transformation whilst also catering for operational demands as required. This broader team is responsible for the leadership and performance of Digital Workplace Services as an integrated suite designed to enhance the digital dexterity of the University's staff and students. Your responsibilities will include: Intune administration including device management policies, Windows 11 Autopilot, patching, monitoring and reporting SCCM administration including imaging, group policy management, patching, monitoring, reporting and PowerShell scripting Assisting in upgrades, maintenance, and enhancements of infrastructure including policies (user/device/security), firmware, drivers, and automation scripts for both SCCM and Intune Supporting configuring and maintaining Intune Windows 10/11 Autopilot deployments Supporting Windows licensing, updates, image delivery, and software packaging for Citrix Platforms, while aligning with the cybersecurity team to secure managed Microsoft endpoints Application Packaging and Deployment (SCCM/Intune) Drive problem management, escalate risks and issues, and ensure compliance with the University's risk management framework and policies Who we are looking for You should possess highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills for effective stakeholder management, and have experience supporting Microsoft End User Computing Technologies. You must have hands-on experience in supporting Intune infrastructure including Windows 10/11 Autopilot deployment across various hardware models and persona. You will also have: Post graduate qualifications in a relevant IT discipline and or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience. Industry-based certification and/or demonstrated working knowledge relevant to Microsoft End User Computing technical domains A qualification in ITIL and/or previous experience using ITIL at a practical level.
