Hudson is currently working with a large financial sector client seeking a Senior Network Engineer for an initial 12-month contract on a long-term project with high likelihood of extensions and contract stability. Responsibilities Include: Develop and maintain the network infrastructure following standards, procedures, security policies, and industry best practices. Evaluate, implement, and maintain network monitoring tools on both Linux and Windows platforms. Ensure change control management processes are adhered to when modifying network infrastructure and maintain up-to-date network documentation, including updates to the ServiceNow CMDB. Liaise with vendors regarding software licensing, hardware, support, and maintenance costs. Implement Network-as-Code to enhance automation and enable self-service tasks using Panorama Knowledge & Desired Skills include: Experience in enterprise network environments (LAN, WAN & Cloud Services) Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with respect to network and application performance Palo Alto Networking/Firewalls (including Panorama for automating Firewall Rules) F5 Load Balancers and Network segregation, NSX-T & Google Cloud (GCP) or similar Understanding Terraform and DevOps Pipelines.
