The Technical Support Engineer will be providing technical support services for the ICT systems and network infrastructure within healthcare. 6 Months Contract (with the view to extend) A Leading Healthcare Provider Onsite Work - Melbourne City Location As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to the Hospital redevelopment projects. You will be working closely with internal ICT teams, external vendors, and stakeholders, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects by providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support and assistance of the ICT systems for the hospital redevelopment projects. Assist in the configuration, installation, and testing of network infrastructure, clinical applications, and systems. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and ICT streams to ensure the timely resolution of technical issues and challenges. Assist in documenting ICT system configurations, diagrams, and procedures accurately. Participate in commissioning ensuring ICT systems meet functional requirements. Provide training and support to end-users on newly implemented ICT systems and technologies. Collaborate with cyber security team to ensure compliance with security measures and industry standards. Assist in evaluating and recommending solutions for technical challenges and improvements. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related industry certifications. Previous experience in a technical support role within a Hospital setting is desirable. Strong understanding of network infrastructure, clinical applications, and systems. Proficiency in providing technical support for network infrastructure LAN/WAN/WiFi. Knowledge of clinical systems, applications, and protocols. Familiarity with desktop support and AV systems. Basic understanding of server and storage environments. Experience in troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely resolutions. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
