About the Role: Currently seeking applications from suitability qualified professionals capable of performing the role of Engineering Manager. Within this position, your overall responsibilities are to ensure company aims are achieved, whilst finding opportunities for improvement. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Manager is charged to achieve positive outcomes on Budget Prices submissions, RFP’s, Quotations, technical training and all pricing activities. The Projects Engineer position has the capacity for flexible working arrangements, subject to project/bid specific requirements. There is the likelihood of periodic domestic travel (Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth), with international travel possible subject to requirements (UK, EU, and China). Responsibilities of the role include: Achieve positive outcomes on Budget Prices submissions, RFP’s, Quotations, and all pricing activities. Present price offers, quote correspondence, tender responses and all oral and written. As needed facilitate after sales and technical support for product ranges. Maintain accurate and timely records of all activities in the CRM and the Business Management System. Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients and suppliers. Attend project updates, bid negotiations, and contract status reviews. Actively contribute to the continual development of company practices and procedures. To be successful in this role, you will have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Commerce, or other technical disciplines, supported by at least 4 years of experience in an engineering and/or project related role. Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a relevant understanding of a project or technical product-based industry Communication skills capable of exchanging detailed information with a diverse range of external and internal stakeholders Enthusiastic approach to overcoming obstacles and improving business strategies Strong attention to detail.
