Your team will provide right-sized support to our product teams; they will drive some of the most complex, cross-product initiatives, including managing dependencies and projects with a broad scope across the company. Lets talk about the role: As the Head/Snr Director of Engineering PMO at ResMed, based in either Sydney or San Diego, you will establish and lead this critical capability for our product delivery across our hardware and software engineering teams. The Engineering Program Management Office improves program delivery of ResMed's products through best in class, continuously evolving practices, data and technology solutions. The PMO supports the Engineering organisation in driving program efficiency, quality and effectiveness to enable the current and growing scale of ResMed's products and services. Key responsibilities: Bring enterprise-wide leadership and impact necessary to transform and lead programs aligned to the Product strategy Lead and develop a high-performing team of project managers and technical program managers who support the delivery of ResMed's engineering products and services You will show innovative thinking, collaborative problem-solving skills, and a passion for working in a cross-functional environment and thrive in a matrix structure. Define and implement the PMO vision, strategy, objectives and roadmap in alignment with the engineering and Product goals Establish and maintain best practices, standards, methodologies and tools (including AI) for program management and planning activities (e.g. PI planning, Annual Operating Plan) across the engineering organization You will work with world-class engineering teams to build solutions while breaking down technical and cross functional barriers You will work in close collaboration with Engineering partners and stakeholder across numerous functions and product areas to help shape the TPM and PM craft Ensure effective communication, collaboration and coordination among the engineering teams and cross-functional teams including QA, RA, Privacy, Legal, Med Affairs, Security etc Monitor and report on the progress, status, risks and issues of the engineering programs and projects, and provide timely escalation and resolution Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the PMO processes, data and technology solutions to enable faster, better and more efficient delivery Provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to the PMO team and the engineering leaders on program management principles and practices Positive contributor to the Engineering team culture and make program management fun Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in leading engineering program management teams and delivering complex software solutions in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, project management tools, data analysis, risk management, and stakeholder management. Track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional engineering programs with high impact and visibility. Experience overseeing multiple projects and teams across various domains and geographies. Solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and engineering best practices. Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.
