We are looking for the successful Candidate to start ASAP for a 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month contract extensions The System Engineering role will provide specialist knowledge and capacity to: Job Description: Ideal candidates should have previous experience working within a Defence environment & good interpersonal skill and a customer-focused mentality, as well as core ICT support skills. They should be prepared to manage a range of ICT capabilities to support ICT operations such as: The System Engineer role will provide specialist knowledge and capacity to: Requirements: (i). The delivery and support of End User Computing and Desktop Virtualisation components of the BICES platform. (ii). Contributes to the writing of detailed designs and Technical Implementation Instructions. (iii). Work closely with the Lead Solution Architect and Change Manager to progress technical changes though the Defence change process; (iv). Assist the Business analyst and Technical Writer to complete and/or review technical support artefacts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); and (v). Any other tasks reasonably requested by the program.
