Role Overview As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of structural analysis and design for innovative insulated panel solutions. Your daily tasks will involve interpreting engineering drawings, performing structural calculations, and providing technical support to ensure our products meet the highest standards. You will work closely with the sales and specification teams, offering guidance throughout the project lifecycle from design to manufacturing and installation. Hone your skills over the next 2-3 years as you become a subject matter expert. You will significantly impact by collaborating with architects, builders, and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet specific project requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that the products not only comply with industry standards but also excel in performance. You will be a key player in driving sustainable practices, helping to design and implement premium building solutions that set new benchmarks in the industry. Responsibilities Interpret engineering drawings and customer technical requirements related to the product range. Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the suitability and safety of insulated panel applications. Including thermal, acoustics and wind calculations Consult with customers to understand their project requirements and provide recommendations. Collaborate with customers, architects, and engineers to develop optimal solutions. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design calculations and reports. Participate in product testing, analysis, and compliance to industry standards. Candidate Profile A passionate Structural Engineer or Civil Engineer with at least 6 months of experience in structural analysis on building products You will have a solid understanding of structural engineering principles and experience performing structural calculations . (hand and system) Strong communication skills are essential, both for verbal interactions with stakeholders and for writing technical documentation. A willingness to learn, ask questions and liaise with customers. A genuine love for complex engineering calculations and foundational concepts is crucial. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Solidworks and familiarity with the Building Code of Australia (BCA) is advantageous. You will need to have full working rights with no restrictions.
