About The Role We currently have an opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our Pacific IT Team and be based in Oakleigh, Victoria. Reporting to the Pacific IT Director and working as part of a small Pacific IT team, with Regional and global support, you will be required to operate, manage and maintain the company IT systems for our manufacturing sites and sales offices across our Pacific Northeast Asia (PNEA) division with primary responsibility to our PNEA operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Be on-site contact person for any IT-related vendor technical support activities conducted, i.e. Telco, NBN, AT&T, CISCO Project participation and Management Provide a high level of ongoing support, development and delivery of IT services throughout ASSA ABLOY PNEA organisations Operate, maintain and monitor IT systems to ensure continual availability to the business Delivery of IT projects and initiatives within the organisation locally and globally Travelling between sites to provide the required support and deliver required project activities Be actively part of the shift roster where occasional callouts will be required both after business hours and weekends. About You To be successful within this role it is essential that you possess the following key skills and attributes: Proven IT experience as a Onsite IT Support Technician with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role Experience and certified in Microsoft 365, VMWARE, VEEAM, Active Directory and Microsoft Windows 10, CISCO CCNA, Wi-Fi, Security, Microsoft Access Extensive knowledge of networking technologies - WAN, LAN, switching (CISCO) configuration/monitoring, routing, wireless (CISCO), firewalls, printing, cloud, Microsoft Access Excellent communication (written and spoken) skills Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills Travelling is a key part of the role so flexibility in travelling when onsite support and project work is required An interest in Technology with a passion for learning A full Australian driver's licence Availability to tend to after-hour call outs. You will be results orientated, a technical expert who can communicate technical information to a range of customers.
