Based at Banksmeadow, our site is highly automated, sophisticated and equipped to global best practice. We have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring that customers' security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met. About the role As a member of a dedicated and passionate team the Engineering Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and delivering maintenance work plans and schedules (Mechanical, Electrical and Site Services) and ensuring spare part availability to reduce plant breakdown time. You'll also: Use performance information to evaluate breakdown reduction opportunities and create preventative tactics to remove the issues. Plan routine and non-routine maintenance works by identifying resources and safety requirements, delivering a weekly maintenance schedule by weekly deadline Manage short and long-term planning for site maintenance requirements (including maintenance shutdowns) Monitor maintenance planning management KPIs and identify and drive improvement opportunities in collaboration with the Shift Supervisors Coordinate and communicate with Mechanical and Electrical Technicians, Engineers and Operations to complete and resolve both planned and unplanned maintenance activities. Own and drive the maintenance stores system, developing the CMMS for managing spares stock levels and streamlining ordering, purchasing, goods receipt and stock reconciliation About you and your skills Maintenance experience 5 years in a Food or FMCG environment Sound working knowledge of developing preventative maintenance strategies CMMS experience (MEX) Experience in root cause analysis and asset optimization Truly committed to optimize the production process and identify opportunities for improvement Excellent understanding of safety systems such as LOTO, work permits, hazardous work.
