About the role Reporting to the Manager Water and Wastewater, this role is responsible for providing advanced technical and operational support for Water and Wastewater sections. Oversee special projects related to water supply, sewerage and treatment processes. Duties Monitor and oversee sewer treatment plants to ensure optimal operations and compliance. Prepare reports and annual returns for various authorities including DPE, EPA, NSW Health, NRAR, WaterNSW. Improve operations through performance and cost-benefit analysis. Offer mentoring and training to consultants and contractors. Engage in organizational leadership and stakeholder communication. Provide excellent customer service, engaging with the community to meet their expectations. Skills & experience required Degree in Civil/ Chemical/ Process Engineering. 5 - 10 years of local experience in sewerage treatment plants, waste water treatment, dam restoration etc. Knowledge of Australian legislation relevant to the Water and Wastewater Industry. Leadership experience. Experience in preparing technical reports, business cases and strategic documents. WHS Induction (White Card) accreditation. Current Australian Class C (Car) drivers licence.
