The Opportunity As a Civil/Structural Engineer with an Australian recognised degree, you possess the knowledge and application of standards and regulations that sets you apart. Holding a registration as a Professional Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ) in Civil, Structural, or both, demonstrates your commitment to professional excellence and quality. Key Responsibilities Managing projects, clients and teams of engineers. Providing technical input and reviewing engineering designs. Developing detailed proposals (large and small projects) Mentoring Junior engineers and designers. Qualifications & Skills Civil/Structural Engineer with minimum of 7 and up to 15 years in the heavy industry sector including oil and gas, mining, material handling technical experience with an Australian recognised degree. Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ) – Civil, Structural or both. High level of engineering knowledge and application of standards and regulations High standards in client deliverables, especially report writing. Experience in the design, modelling and analysis of structural system from foundations to support structures (concrete, steel, timber, etc). Experience in leading teams and extensive client networking in Brisbane and Queensland will be highly regarded. Familiar with industry standards including AS1170, AS1657, AS3600, AS4100, and AS5100 and similar. Experience with structural software (Space Gass, Mircostran, Limcon, Strand 7, etc). In addition to your technical prowess, your commercial knowledge and ability to secure work will be highly valued. Understanding the commercial aspects of projects and leveraging your expertise to contribute to the firm's growth and success will set you apart.
