This role is primarily an onsite role so the successful candidate is expected to be able to travel to Fortitude Valley 5 days a week during the probation period. Some flexibility is available once the probation period is completed. You will act as an escalation point for a team of desktop engineers and collaborate with a team of other dedicated and knowledgeable engineers from both the wider support team and client staff. This role requires someone who has the ability to solve complex, high-impact challenges faced by our customers in a timely and efficient manner. Experience with Windows 10/11, SCCM, Powershell and Intune as well as a broad knowledge of IT will be required in this role. Your day-to-day responsibilities: Ensure support SLA targets are achieved Provide Level 3 technical specialist skills in delivering, maintaining and supporting end user support functions including printing and computer environments Provide onsite support at client locations on behalf of service delivery teams and resolve technical issues Maintain and administer systems, which includes Desktops (Windows OS), Microsoft Office suite, Printing and Windows server support. Also includes end user support and liaising with 3rd party vendors as needed. Ensure service quality through technical competence and attention to detail Ensure adherence to our Service Delivery policies, processes and procedures Work with Team Lead and Account Management staff to ensure effective management of the client base What skills you will bring to the team: Support for Windows, Apple, Linux and virtual desktop platforms (servers and virtual desktop) Assist with the implementation and testing of policies, Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Represent End User Computing as a senior capability and escalation point with internal and external stakeholders. High level knowledge of the IT end user computing environment and the relationships/connections. Demonstrated experience in desktop infrastructure support including the ability to work with and understand a broad range of technology in a large environment with Windows computers. Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining desktop Standard Operating environment software and packages within the Windows Platform using SCCM. Experience with SCCM and Intune for device management and patching Provide technical support necessary to ensure that a high standard of customer service is delivered and that all relevant service level agreements and timeframes are met for End User Computing Desirable Specialised Technical Skillset (SME) in a certain technology Prior experience within an outsourced service delivery environment or MSP Working knowledge of ITIL concepts and methodologies Note: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check and a technical test.
