The Opportunity We're in search of a driven and experienced Full-Time Catering Sales Executive who can execute each event with confidence and professionalism. In this role you will play a pivotal role in shaping our catering and event services to meet the diverse needs of our clientele. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in crafting events and excels at building relationships. Key Responsibilities Sell and coordinate events, ensuring personalised, courteous and friendly service is given to all guests and clientele. Respond to general enquiries, conduct venue inspections, contract events and coordinate all aspects of the event. Prepare detailed proposals and contracts tailored to the specific requirements of each client. Present proposals in a professional manner and negotiate terms to secure contracts. Collaborate closely with the hotel's banquet and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution of events. Coordinate all logistical details including menu selection, room setup, audiovisual equipment, and any special requests. Assist the team in achieving budgeted revenue targets. Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demand. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by providing attentive service throughout the planning process and by addressing any concerns or issues in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and contracts. Required Skills At least 1 year experience in a similar role in a hotel or related events industry. A passion for delivering ultimate guest satisfaction through creativity and innovation. Knowledge of Ivvy or similar event management system is highly regarded. Creativity and an eye for detail is essential.
