As this is a customer facing role, you will tackle challenging platform & customer issues, champion customer success, and contribute to shaping the Cloud landscape Flexibility to work occasionally outside of business hours may also be requested when needed. Role: Technical Support Engineer (Performance) Here's what you'll be doing: Become a platform expert: Deepen your understanding of our core functionalities, allowing you to confidently diagnose and resolve customer issues. Master the art of troubleshooting: Utilize various diagnostic tools to pinpoint the root cause of problems and guide customers towards effective solutions. Embrace ownership: Take initiative and diligently manage your assigned cases, ensuring timely and efficient resolution. Collaborate for success: Work seamlessly with other teams when complex issues require broader expertise. Your collaborative nature and willingness to learn will be instrumental. Think creatively: Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, finding innovative solutions to keep customers productive. Advocate for improvement: Leverage your unique customer-facing perspective to provide valuable insights for process and product enhancements. Technical skills: Up to 3 years customer facing Technical Support or Application Support experience (web-based products or e-commerce) Advanced experience with RDBMS (MySQL/SQL, Oracle) e.g effectively querying tables, indexing, managing data/data manipulation, tune SQL queries etc. Some experience using terminal to review large log files, search for patterns, identify issues & manipulating output Working knowledge in administering Linux/Unix OR Microsoft Server Ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues with ease & complexity Some basic understanding of JavaScript code Nice to Haves: Good experience writing/debugging OO code (pref Java or other relevant technologies) Knowledgeable in 1 (or more) scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell Working knowledge of the components in a web applications stack Ready to join our team?
