Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts, building strong client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: Utilise business directories and other sources to assess potential clients and business opportunities. Develop an in-depth understanding of the various signage products offered, including their materials, sizes, applications, and optimal use cases to provide the best recommendations to clients. Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and challenges to propose custom signage solutions that effectively meet their business objectives, considering factors such as visibility, durability, and brand alignment. Provide technical advice on installation processes and maintenance requirements for different signage types, ensuring clients choose solutions that are both practical and effective for their intended environment and usage. Visit current and prospective clients to identify and act on sales opportunities, fostering strong business relationships. Monitor and report on evolving customer needs and competitor activities, providing insights to the management for strategic planning. Prepare and present quotations, negotiate prices and credit terms, finalise contracts, and accurately record orders. Oversee the delivery and installation of signage solutions and conduct follow-ups with clients to ensure they are satisfied and to address any issues they might have. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or at least five years of relevant work experience Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Sydney area. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging $72,000 - $82,000 commission on sales plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
