Plant Operator - Truck Driver — Griffith Area, Wagga Wagga Region

Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position. PLANT OPERATOR – TRUCK DRIVER (Permanent) The purpose of the Truck Driver is to operate Council’s road maintenance/construction plant in a safe, economical and proficient manner, carry out routine maintenance and regular servicing of plant items under the incumbent’s control, and to help promote the image of Council and the Engineering Services Department as both efficient and courteous. Qualifications: The successful applicant will require a current Australian HR driver licence and General Construction Induction training card or White Card. Please include copies of all relevant licenses and qualifications with your application. Hours of work: 38 hours per week. Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary from $58,622.20 to $64,482.60 (Grade 6). Plus Superannuation and Rostered day off once a fortnight.
