This role will involve transporting Children with a disability to and from school. COREASSIST is a registered NDIS provider. We are proud to announce that we have recently been awarded a transport contract by the NSW Education Department. Your primary responsibility will be to provide safe and reliable transportation for the children. Every weekday morning (MON-FRI), you will be tasked with collecting each child/ren from their respective homes and ensuring they arrive at school promptly. Once the school day concludes, you will pick them up and ensure their safe return to their homes in the afternoon. It's important to note that the transport routes can vary. Specifically, the locations of the runs span between Bondi and Campbeltown, most Sydney locations. Familiarity with these areas and their traffic patterns will be advantageous for this role. Your commitment to punctuality and safety is paramount to the success of this service and the satisfaction of the families we serve. You will need to: Have good communication skills with the client, family members and other professionals if required. Have a high standard of professionalism and maintain a good driving record. Monitoring the safety and well-being of clients whilst transporting them. Drivers must be cleared through the department's probity assessment before commencement. Your own vehicle with valid insurance. If the run has more than 4 children, the company will provide you with a suitable van. Requirements for the Job: Copy of your driving history dating 10 years. Current CPR / First Aid Certificate. Current Working with Children Check. Current Federal Police Check. Current Australian Driver’s Licence. On the job training provided to the successful applicant.
