About the Role As the infrastructure engineer for the team, you will be the infrastructure specialist providing trusted hands on and advice for the infrastructure and network environment to ensure quality and stable delivery of systems to support the vision of improving our customer and employee experiences. This role requires technical expertise in addition to a continuous improvement mindset, ability to plan, scope and run projects. This role is instrumental in support, security improvements, project execution, mentoring and coaching the team. Responsibilities included Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers/engineers. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive the infrastructure roadmap Managing and providing expert technology support across technical infrastructure and services (including Network Management, Server Management, Systems, and Cloud products) Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents as well as documenting findings, provide improvement recommendations and plans. Monitoring of system availability, performance, health, service levels, and capacity planning. Propose and report on key performance metrics. Lead and deliver timely and successful completion of projects within budgetary and timeline constraints. Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on technical issues and challenges. Conduct infrastructure, networks and security reviews to maintain quality and adherence to best practices. Design, develop and communicate technical documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business leaders to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements. Essential Criteria 5 years of experience in senior infrastructure and networks roles Proven experience in a mentoring and coaching more junior technical team members. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Project management experience is a plus. Service Management qualifications (ITIL) is a plus. Substantial industry experience with relevant vendor certifications Depth of MS365 knowledge and experience The ability to work autonomously with a continuous improvement mindset. Experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, backup and recovery. Strong reporting and communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
