About the Role: Temporary Part-Time (2 DAYS / 14.5 Hours per week) Roster Days: Thursdays & Fridays - 7.25 hours/day ADO Start Time: 7.00 am not negotiable Located in Bellbird Park, Kruger State School is a large primary school with a strong focus on the teaching of reading and pedagogical practices across the school. We are seeking a dynamic and efficient Admin Officer to join our team and work with a variety of students, staff and community from diverse backgrounds. You need to be a team player with the ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment, be flexible and confident with digital technologies. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Front Office Reception - primary contact for all visitors, students, parents and staff. General Office Administration -general office duties (mail, deliveries, filing etc), Student attendance and information management (roll marking, late slips, enrolments, etc) Administer student medication Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures Other duties and administration support as directed by the Principal and Business Manager Key Selection Criteria: We are looking for someone with the following skills and abilities: Ability to prioritise a variety of competing priorities in a busy, fast paced environment A positive team member who is able to respond to the needs of the team to ensure outcomes A detail-oriented person who seeks out ways to improve work practices and efficiencies. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining prompt and polite customer service. Experience working in a Qld State School's Office and a working knowledge of OneSchool and ID Attend is desirable but not necessary.
