Senior Civil Engineer — Camira, Ipswich

Description We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join us in our Community Development team in Brisbane. This role will suit a Senior Civil Engineer with general urban, land and subdivision design along with project management experience. Ideally the applicant will also have experience managing multiple projects and enjoys building good client relations. Reporting to the Group Leader, you will manage projects with long term clients with a strong pipeline of projects already in place. The role can be based in either Fortitude Valley or Springfield office. The role Civil design, design coordination of urban, land and subdivision projects, from feasibility through to construction Project management of Civil projects through the design stage including preparation of design briefs, completion of design reviews, procuring suitable resources / subconsultants, management of the design deliverables and preparation / review of invoices Preparing technical reports and specifications Coordinating between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects Undertaking and managing site inspections Liaising with authorities and stakeholders to coordinate the approval of designs. Developing of key technical reports for clients Managing projects to successfully deliver multiple concurrent projects in accordance with Client requirements and Stantec Processes Preparing fee estimates and proposals About you To be successful you display the following: Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, ideally within urban, land and subdivisions Experience and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modelling and construction Project management skills Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including report writing What we offer Along with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.
