Administration Officer - Department of Medical Imaging — Brisbane, Brisbane Region

About the role Temporary opportunity responsible for providing, developing and maintaining an efficient, effective, ethical and confidential administrative, and secretarial support service with a strong focus on delivering quality patient care, with the Department of Medical Imaging (DMI), Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and / or Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS). About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Perform a wide range of administrative tasks, which may include written and verbal communication such as preparation of patient notification letters and patient pre-procedure letters, reception duties, scheduling of appointments, Department call centre support, secretarial, film reproduction and revenue related roles and Department of Emergency Medicine coverage. Complete functions associated with bookings within all modalities, managing cancellations, rescheduling and liaising with Clinical and Administrative teams as appropriate. Utilisation of all key information systems such as Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and HBCIS and ieMR. Participate in a rotating shift roster, including the availability to work out of hours, seven days per week including Public Holidays.
