Part-time (0.8 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis. Base salary range (Level 6): $87,460– $92,430p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation. About the area The Division of Student Accommodation and Community sits within the UWA Operations Portfolio, overseen by the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Operations. The Student Accommodation and Community Division provides co-aligned and extracurricular services for enrolled students, staff and community stakeholders. The Division manages a range of social enterprises and a significant asset portfolio for the University, including all sporting facilities and infrastructure, as well as a series of student accommodation services. Services within the Directorate include the residential student accommodation services of University Hall, UWA Medical Centre, UWA Childcare Services, UWA Sport and the Student Accommodation Program. About the opportunity Provide a high level of administrative support to the Director and wider Directorate, responding to diverse requests using expertise and judgement to independently analyse and solve problems. You will also be responsible for planning and coordinating a range of administrative functions across the Directorate. You will provide support to the Director by engaging with stakeholders, preparing documents, and act as Executive Officer on committees and working groups chaired by the Director. About you Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency. Substantial relevant experience at an appropriate level, in a dynamic administrative role. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. Highly developed organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines. Experience in any of the operating areas of the Directorate, being Medical Centres, Childcare, Sport, Accommodation is desirable.
