We have an opportunity for a Senior Site Engineer to join the Higgins Team in Hamilton. You will be working on one of our largest construction projects in the Waikato - Ngāruawāhia ByPass. As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of the project, overseeing a team of three Site Engineers while maintaining a focus on quality assurance and the timely delivery of works to the highest standards. You will be instrumental in driving the success of the NBP Project, leveraging your leadership abilities, quality assurance expertise, and road construction experience to deliver results in line with project expectations. What you'll bring to the role: Proven experience on New Zealand civils and roading projects in an Engineering capacity A tertiary qualification in Engineering (NZDCE or BEng Civils or similar) A strong focus on cost control and Quality outcomes Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and the knowledge to apply NZS3910 is desirable Experience managing project resources including materials and teams/crews Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.
