As an experienced member of the Mechanical engineering team, the Integration Engineer supports the fast-paced manufacturing and test of Launch Vehicle and satellite hardware through the development and optimisation of all aspects of manufacturing and production activities, including but not limited to manufacturing best practices, and introduction of process improvement and enhancement across all areas of production. Document and communicate across teams to ensure duties are performed in an efficient and timely manner whilst adhering to Gilmour Space policies and procedures. Assist with generation and oversight of mission schedules through the combination of design, production, qualification, and acceptance timelines Perform hands-on engineering and liaison role between the design teams and manufacturing organisation as Gilmour Space works to iterate on designs and ramp into the manufacturing phase. Development and maintenance of the MBOM Development and maintenance of integration logic across Launch Vehicles Host weekly programmatic meetings to deconflict and raise challenges in schedule to broader organisation Development and upkeep of traceability plan structure, in accordance with integration logic breakdown of the MBOM Incorporating development containers into the MBOM Perform structured root cause analysis of in-process failures and implement corrective actions as required Collaboration with Supply Chain Dept. to establish robust supply chains and sourcing strategies. Prepare engineering documentation necessary for the transition from development to production including manufacturing processes, standards, assembly procedures, test procedures, standard operating procedures, bills of materials, suitable alternate parts lists and mechanical drawings. Complete design packages as required across all programs withing Gilmour space Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience We recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don’t let that deter you. Let’s send Australia to space Master’s Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment 4 years’ experience with CAD designing parts and assemblies (Solid works preferred, Inventor, CATIA etc.) Demonstrated professional leadership experience on projects or structured activities. Ability to work well in an integrated team including daily interactions with technicians, engineers, and managers.
