About the Role: Are you looking to build a career in project management and gain practical experience in the bids and project management field? Join our team at Above Water Systems (AWS) team based in Garden Island as an Administrator - PMO Support. This role is a fantastic opportunity to support our Bids and Projects PMO/Project Office activities, gaining valuable insights and experience across various PMO disciplines. As the Administrator - PMO Support, you will: Support the maintenance of the PMO weekly/monthly cycle drumbeat to ensure routine deliverables are met on time. Develop and maintain project management structures and baselines such as WBS, OBS, RAM, WPDDs, PMBs. Assist with the compilation and preparation of bids for both internal and external customers. Support project execution by assisting in management and execution activities. Aid the Contract Management team in various activities, including performance-based and collaborative contract models. Train in PRIMAVERA, Thales' project management tool, and assist the Planning & Scheduling team. Help prepare tender schedules for bid submissions and maintain project master schedules during production. Assist with project schedule and cost control activities, and support Project Managers/Control Account Managers (CAM). Prepare regular project reports/charts on schedule and cost progress. Assist with the compilation and coordination of risk management activities. Key Knowledge and Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work in a multi-project team environment. Capacity to understand and apply new information and concepts. Willingness to treat new situations and changes as opportunities for learning and growth. Experience in a project management environment. Knowledge of scheduling/program management software. Well-developed communication skills.
