About the Role An opportunity to work in our Community Amenity Administration Team as an Administration Officer, has become available on a permanent full-time basis. The role sits within a multi-disciplinary and dynamic team, which provides support to the wider Community Amenity department. The function of the Administration Officer is to provide administrative services and support to our Animal Control, Local Laws, Fire Prevention, Parking Compliance, Prosecutions and School Crossing programs About You Certificate in Business Administration; or equivalent work experience, preferably in local government. Strong written and verbal communication skills, to effectively convey and explain complex information. Effectively responding to members of the public from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. Demonstrated experience providing a broad range of administration support. Demonstrated high levels of attention to detail, proven ability to manage multiple administrative priorities both independently and within a team. Demonstrated effective planning and organisational skills to ensure tasks are completed within applicable deadlines. Demonstrated ability in decision making and exercising discretion within standards and procedures. The ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office and other related software.
