About the Role Corpus Christi Parish, South Tuggeranong is currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher and Practising Catholic, who is driven to join a team of innovative professionals and who will nurture each child’s talents and gifts through the dynamic and stimulating Sacramental programs in the three parish primary schools; St Clare of Assisi, Conder St Francis of Assisi, Calwell and Holy Family, Gowrie. Deliver the Sacramental program for students. Demonstrate at all times active support of CE and school policies and procedures. Create a learning environment which stimulates learning and promotes excellence and which accepts and acknowledges the needs of students to be both challenged and supported. Use a variety of teaching and learning techniques which align to Catalyst and HITP. Communicate in a clear, respectful and professional way in order to optimise each student’s development. Maintain professional confidentiality on information about students and families. Be proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 as a teaching and administrative tool. Qualifications Must hold a current Working with Vulnerable People registration and Teaching Accreditation Must be a practising Catholic Must have commenced or completed relevant degree. Must hold or be willing to obtain within four years Accreditation D as outlined in the Work Teach and Lead Policy Must have a current driver’s license Essential Criteria A sound understanding of and commitment to the Church’s mission in Catholic Education and the capacity to contribute to the spiritual and community life of the school. A sound knowledge of the CECG Religious Education Curriculum K -10 with the ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and learning and authentic faith formation. Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills so as to engage positively with colleagues, students and parents.  Excellent planning and implementation of teaching programs. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create supportive and safe environments including managing challenging student behaviours and meeting a variety of learning needs.
