Development & Alumnae Relations Administrator — Brisbane CBD, Brisbane

Experienced senior administrator needed for a highly respected independent school, to join on a full-time basis. About the Role: Our client a prestigious independent school in Brisbane, is seeking a dedicated Development & Alumnae Administrator to join their team. This role is crucial in supporting the Development and Alumnae Relations Department, ensuring seamless operations and fostering engagement with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: The Development & Alumnae Relations Administrator provides high-quality administrative support to the Director of Development and Alumnae Relations, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key duties include managing physical and digital files, maintaining accurate donor databases, and preparing correspondence such as emails, acknowledgment letters, donation receipts, event invitations, and thank-you notes. Assisting in planning and organising fundraising events like the annual Giving Day and Principal Events, handling logistics, booking venues, arranging catering, and preparing guest lists. This role also supports the Alumnae Relations Manager in organising reunions and other events. Additional responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating team meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and arranging travel logistics for team members. Confidentiality in handling sensitive information is essential. Experience and Competencies: Tertiary qualifications in Office/Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and advanced functionality in using a CRM system. Strong writing, formatting, and communication skills, with well-developed written expression and grammar. Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise competing demands. Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Professional liaison skills, understanding the importance of protocol and quality customer service. Highly professional presentation and manner, including a polished telephone manner. Ability to acquire and maintain a Positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
