Sales Coordinator / Bookings Officer — Gold Coast Region, Queensland

This exciting role reports directly to the Head of Sales and works within an established and close knit call centre and sales team. On a day to day basis you will be the liaison between the call centre and in-home sales reps. You will make contact with customers and coordinate, organise and re-confirm their scheduled appointments, which have been booked by the call centre team, for the sales reps to attend the following day. Using your sales and influencing skills, you will ensure the customers are ready for their upcoming meeting to discuss installing solar power and if not, you will discuss and make alternative booking arrangements to a suitable time when the customers are ready. Working closely with the sales reps, you will work together to ensure they have the best chance to convert the face to face meetings into sales. We are looking for candidates, who are energetic and passionate about growing their career in sales. Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years experience in a sales, scheduling or coordination role and are comfortable picking up the phone and thrive working in a role where you can utilise your co-ordination skills to get results. To be considered for this position, you should have the following expertise:- High level of customer service and scheduling experience Experience in sales - coordination, bookings, rostering or similar role Excellent attention to detail Time management and organisational skills Strong computer skills On offer is a generous base salary of up to $70k super and the hours of work are either 8am - 4pm or 10am - 6pm.
