Project Overview: Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy. Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of 5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to 225 Terajoules per day. Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2. Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source. Job Summary: The Area Admin Assistant role will provide general administrative support to an area. You will meet regularly with managers to be informed of key issues and to coordinate the workload. This is a FIFO role working 3:1 roster based in Karratha, WA. Major Responsibilities: Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international) and prepare detailed itineraries as needed. Assist team members with expense reports through Concur. Independently schedule and reschedule appointments based on manager’s commitments and priorities providing adequate detail to individual items. Organize office for meetings, training, or employee events. Create and organize presentations or materials needed for meetings. Coordinate special activities and programs with manager’s input and approval. Manage department meeting and catering requests per site procedure Other duties assigned by Area Manager. Education and Experience Requirements: Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suites Working knowledge of Concur Working knowledge of Aconex or electronic document management systems Previous Bechtel experience in similar position preferred. Required Knowledge and Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills; detail oriented Experience interfacing with executive management and customers Able to handle highly confidential information Must be able to work independently Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required. Additional Information: This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.). The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
