As a member of our Exams & Graduations team, you will actively contribute to a positive and professional work environment that fosters innovation, teamwork, high achievement, continuous improvement and job satisfaction. You will provide high-quality general support and troubleshooting to students attending graduation ceremonies in August and December and students taking exams throughout the year. As part of this role, you will also be required to liaise with key teams both within Student Services and the wider University to connect students to support services and resolve enquiries at the first point of contact. Your responsibilities will include: Providing accurate and consistent information via CRM and email channels taking ownership of enquiries and resolving at first point of contact Managing enquiry follow-up, working collaboratively in consultation with Student Services staff in other teams Assisting with student-related activities and events including Melbourne Commencement Ceremonies, Examinations and Graduation Ceremonies Identify service improvement suggestions that ensure a student-centred and coordinated approach to service delivery Who we are looking for We’re looking for people who can thrive in a changing and fast-paced environment while working in a collegiate manner with other staff, showing initiative and flexibility, with the ability to rise to a challenge within a changing environment. Your strong interpersonal communication skills and excellent written and verbal language skills will be key to success in the role. You will demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as autonomously and under direction, exercising decision-making abilities. We are looking for team players, who are able to maintain a high level of focus and productivity with a willingness to contribute to a team focused on delivering high-quality student services and events. You will also have: An undergraduate qualification and/or equivalent mix of education and relevant professional experience Demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer service and ability to manage pressure in a fast-paced customer service environment Knowledge of and ability to effectively utilise systems such as CRM and student systems, coupled with sound knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to apply sound judgement, be sensitive to individual circumstances, and maintain a high level of confidentiality Experience working or studying in a tertiary education environment will be highly regarded For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements please refer to the attached PD. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
