Can you tell me more about what you do at VLSBC? Great question We're really proud of the work we do. We are the regulator of the Victorian legal profession. We license lawyers and oversee service standards and conduct. This includes handling complaints about lawyers, investigating poor conduct and overseeing management of trust accounts. We are also the stewards of the public purpose and fidelity funds and administer these to support legal regulation and access to justice in Victoria. Okay, and what role are you recruiting for? We're looking for an Administration Support Officer to join our Policy & Outreach team. You will provide expert administrative support within a dynamic environment including diary management, document and presentation preparation and coordination, monthly reporting, liaison with stakeholders, word processing and meeting preparations. This is getting interesting, what type of person are you looking for? We're looking for passionate and driven people to work with us as we continue to enhance our services to the Victorian public. We are looking for candidates with the following: Demonstrated experience in providing executive support and assistance to senior executives and/or in a fast-paced administration support position. Interest and/or experience in a legal environment would be highly regarded. A high level of expertise with the Microsoft Office suite of products as well as significant experience using TRIM or similar document management systems. Demonstrated experience in working in a role where high-level organisational skills and great customer service are required. Demonstrated interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy and discretion, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and the ability to liaise effectively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
