Administration Coordinator – Procurement — Mangerton, Wollongong Area

The Role: We are currently in search of an organized and detail-oriented Administration Coordinator for our Procurement team. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of procurement activities, with a primary focus on inventory management, back-order management, and vendor liaison. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management : Take ownership of inventory management processes, including monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, receipting stock accurately and allocating accordingly Ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet demand while minimizing excess stock. Back Order Management : Continually follow up any outstanding back orders and communicate with all parties ensuring alternate stock is sourced when applicable. Vendor Liaison : Act as a liaison between the procurement team and external vendors, fostering positive relationships and ensuring timely and efficient communication. Follow up on orders, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and negotiate terms and pricing as needed. Team Support : Provide comprehensive administrative support to the procurement team, including processing purchase orders, maintaining documentation, and assisting with contract management. Keep records updated and ensure that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Time Management : Thrive in a fast-paced environment by effectively managing your time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. Handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and follow up. About You: Proven experience in administration or coordination roles, preferably within a procurement or inventory management environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with vendors, internal stakeholders, and team members. Ability to work autonomously and take initiative to drive process improvements and streamline operations. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
