State Administration Assistant — Highgate, Perth

Role: State Administration Assistant Location: WA Head Office - East Victoria Park Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week) With 15,000 Goodstart team members across 661 centres nurturing 63,600 children, we're Australia's largest provider of early learning and care. The State Administration Assistant is responsible for delivering administrative services to the WA State Centre Support and Centre Network leaders and team members, as well as coordinating with national stakeholders. This role is pivotal in maintaining a warm and welcoming office environment and streamlining systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, the role includes event planning and project work aligned with state and national objectives. Your Impact: Provide administrative support to the State Management team, including filing, records management, and maintenance of databases. Ensure the smooth operation of the Centre Support Office, including ordering supplies, managing bookings, and maintaining equipment. Organise state events and projects, coordinating meetings and seminars for internal and external stakeholders. Liaise with external stakeholders such as maintenance contractors, suppliers, and government departments. Manage customer service inquiries from internal and external customers through various communication channels. Maintain confidentiality of organizational information and records. Adhere to Health and Safety policies and report any incidents or hazards. You'll bring to the table: Previous work experience in a business-related environment. Completion of Secondary Education. Proficient knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Office 365, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organisational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of organisational information. Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. Previous experience within the Early Learning sector (desirable). Completion of Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable).
