SICE ANZ is currently embarking on exciting growth and we have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, versatile and results-oriented software support engineer to join our Tolling team in Melbourne. This role will support, coordinate and maintain our tolling software and systems and actively participate in the implementation and testing of new releases and upgrades. This role will also be responsible for identifying, escalating and tracking relevant project risks, perform incident analysis and fault diagnosis, oversee software configurations, liaise with SICE’s development teams for implementation of new functionalities or resolution of issues and work with third-party vendors as needed. Requirements This position would suit a final year student (who can work full-time) or a recent graduate in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field who has a good understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, knowledge of Oracle SQL database language and the ability to work in Linux environments. Having excellent written & verbal communication skills alongside strong client management skills is essential to succeed in the role. We will also value if you have: Experience with bash and python scripting Knowledge of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) and its implementation on Amazon Web Services. Knowledge of microservices-based and containerized architectures. Ability to manage and coordinate operations and maintenance activities.
