The Opportunity We have an opportunity for an organised individual to provide secretarial and administrative support to the CEO, Mayor, and Councillors to ensure the efficient operation of the CEO and Mayor's Office. As Executive Administration Assistant, you will undertake secretarial and administrative tasks relating to activities and projects as part of the CEO and Mayor's Office as well as assist with monitoring and managing the calendar of the CEO and Mayor. About You We are seeking an individual who holds a Cert III qualification in Business Studies, Administration, Local Government or similar equivalent qualification. You will have the following skills and experience; High-level word-processing skills (Microsoft Word) including a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute. Knowledge and ability in the use of Microsoft software packages including Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Local Government procedures, practices and operational frameworks. A high level of skills relating to project management and time management. Benefits This is a permanent part time position working 21 hours per week. The total remuneration package for this position commences at $77,835.68 gross per annum (paid pro-rata), comprising of: $1,348.50 per week base salary $148.34 per week superannuation (calculated at 11%) Remuneration is paid pro-rata for part-time employees.
