Business Administration Trainee — Prospect, Launceston Area

The Opportunity We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised, and motivated individual to join our team in a full-time two-year limited tenure Business Administration Trainee position. In this role you will assist with a variety of operational and administrative services across different departments within the College. This role is designed to provide you with a comprehensive introduction to various aspects of an administrative career, enabling you to develop key skills and gain valuable experience whilst undertaking a Certificate III in Business Administration. In this role, you will assist with day-to-day administrative tasks to support various department, provide excellent customer services to both internal and external customers, support accounts payable and receivable processes, participate in general clerical duties including filing, data entry and document management, learn and utilise college specific software and systems and contribute to maintaining organised and efficient office operations. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018, with the applicable Classification as Business Services Level 1. About You As an organised and process driven individual, who loves to work in a team you will have: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Email Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities Professional attitude and a proactive approach to work An understanding of and ability to contribute to the mission of St Patrick’s College as a Catholic school.
