This role is critical in supporting the smooth operation of their designated projects and tasks. Position: Administration Staff / Clerk Department: Accounts / Administration Reports to: Administration Manager Location: Sydney Metropolitan Area Primary Objective: To support the Accounts and Administration Department and all staff members as an effective team player in managing designated projects and tasks. The role requires effective and continual communication with internal and external clients. Key Responsibilities: Assist Managers with coordinating assigned functions and other activities as directed. Maintain system records and assist with the implementation, compliance, and monitoring of WHS, Environmental Management, and QA systems. Ensure compliance with the Organisation-wide IMS system by reporting unsafe practices, work conditions, and hazards. Specific Accountabilities: Data entry of job confirmations from Wastedge to Wasteman. Data entry of new contracts. Assist in the data entry of A/P invoices through MYOB. Answer phone calls and assist clients with inquiries, such as additional services or missed services. Support the Accounts and Administration Manager with various tasks as assigned. Provide assistance with any additional tasks as required. General Duties: Perform telephone duties, including answering incoming calls, making outgoing calls, and taking messages. Provide general administrative support. Maintain and understand office equipment, including photocopiers and fax machines. Respond appropriately to staff and clients in various situations. Receive and relay oral and written messages. Respond to incoming telephone calls and emails promptly. Re-direct inquiries and take appropriate follow-up action. Team Participation: Identify tasks for the team and complete your own tasks. Assist others in completing tasks. Consistently follow up on scheduled work to ensure client satisfaction.
