Your new role: Reporting to the API and Integration Manager, the Integration Engineer is a technical specialist role focusing on the operational management, continuous improvement and delivery of the Fund's Microsoft Azure-based integration environment (including logic apps, functions, APIs, APIM, service bus, event grid, and other integration components), as well as the Fund's file transfer platforms (including Axway MFT and JAMS). This role includes operational management, platform oversight and governance, technical engineering, and solution implementation, as well as ensuring alignment to the Funds processes, standards, and best practices. Key duties include but are not limited to: Provide 24x7 operational support (via an on-call roster system) for integration services, including incident resolution and problem management. Support operational management of the Azure-hosted Fund Integration Platform (Azure Integration Service) and file transfer platforms (Axway MFT and JAMS), including management of build and configuration activities, monitoring, observability and alerting, as well as lifecycle management. Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements for new integrations and deliver solutions that are fit for purpose and aligned to standards and patterns. Assist with development of new integrations and deliver enhancements on existing integrations workflows, using established integration patterns. Proactively collaborate and keep stakeholders up to date on key issues or escalation. Operate and make decisions according to the Fund's Policies, Standards and Procedures and the Fund's Key Decision Registers and the delegated authorities. What you'll need: 5 years' experience in technical operations positions, with prior technical experience working in cloud technologies, ideally in a complex technical environment. 2 years' experience developing integration solutions with cloud services and able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of integration concepts and principles. Deep experience with code driven pipelines using Azure DevOps, with Terraform as a preferred skill. Experience in development of workflows through Azure Services (logic apps, function apps), and APIs. Excellent and demonstrable technical knowledge and understanding of integration platforms and services: · Azure APIM and · Axway API Gateway · Azure FunctionApps · Azure LogicApps · Azure EventGrid · Azure Service Bus · Microservices · Automation and scripting (Terraform, ARM, Python, Powershell, etc.) Proven experience in Agile ways of working to enhance products and services through engineering best practices. Understanding and working knowledge of ITIL.
